About the award
Prove Auré Planté Prize
The Prove Auré Planté Prize aims to recognize, year after year, the individuals, businesses, institutions and civil society groups that take visible and measurable steps towards a more ethical, sustainable and conscious society.
The award aims to highlight achievements that bring real change to everyday life: whether it be the development of a plant-based menu at a restaurant, credible educational activism by a celebrity, the persistent work of an animal welfare organization, or the innovative role of a product.
The Prove Auré Planté Award is not solely intended to celebrate the achievements of the vegan community. It also recognizes those who, although not following this philosophy and lifestyle, still actively support the realization of these goals: through their professional knowledge, the expansion of the range, or by setting a peaceful example.
The award aims to highlight achievements that bring real change to everyday life: whether it be the development of a plant-based menu at a restaurant, credible educational activism by a celebrity, the persistent work of an animal welfare organization, or the innovative role of a product.

The winner of the sixteen Public Prize Awards is selected through public voting.

5 nominees will be shortlisted for the Auré Planté Awards. The jury will select 1 winner from each category.

Award ceremony
November 7.
The winners of the Public Choice and Auré Planté Awards will be revealed at the Vegan Summit in a solemn award ceremony.

What is the difference between the Prove Auré Planté and the Public Prize categories?
The fate of the Prove Auré Planté Awards is decided by an independent, professional jury, which represents a highly prestigious recognition. In the Public Choice category, however, an open vote decides who will be the most popular candidate, while the Public Choice Award winner is also determined by an open vote.
What criteria are used to select the awardees?
According to its own methodology, the Vegan Summit evaluates the candidates, in which both objective and subjective factors play a role. The jury consists of independent experts and recognized personalities to ensure that the selection is authentic and balanced. The members of the jury are not allowed to vote in a given category in case of conflict of interest. However, the public vote is much more open, in which anyone can win among the candidates shortlisted if they manage to skillfully mobilize their following or circle of acquaintances while maintaining credibility.
Can one apply, or can someone be admitted only through nomination?
Yes, we are waiting for everyone to apply – whether you nominate yourself, or a person or company you know is worthy of the award.
Are there any financial costs associated with applying or winning the award?
There is no registration fee, and receiving the prize does not entail any financial obligations. The prestige of the prize lies in the fact that we recognize achievements and credible results through the help of the professional jury and the audience, not in the fact that someone paid for it.
What advantage does it bring if someone wins the award or gets on the list?
The awardees receive greater visibility in the media and professional communities. This strengthens personal and organizational credibility, helps build relationships, engage supporters and partners, and also serves as an inspiring example for society. The category winner can wear the title they have won for 1 year on any surface.
Can someone who is not strictly vegan but has done a lot for the plant-based cause receive a prize?
No one is excluded from the competition. We are looking for credibility, but it may also be that in certain categories, it is not the aspect of whether someone is vegan in their private life, but the extent to which they have contributed to the spread of the vegan lifestyle and its positive perception.
How important is the public vote in the final result?
The results of the public vote are also an important feedback for the jury, and we take them into account when evaluating the categories in the Prove Auré Planté category – however, this is not the only decisive factor. The jury also considers professional aspects independently, so it may happen that the candidate who received the most votes and the person awarded by the jury are not the same person. If you fear that the professional jury may not choose you, your own followers, customers, or acquaintances can still contribute significantly to your chances and you may win one of the Public Awards – if you authentically represent the activity in question.
Can one person/company apply in more than one category?
Yes, if an individual, a product, a brand, or a business has a chance in more than one category, you are welcome to nominate them in more than one relevant category. There are no restrictions in this regard.
